Just back from the Mattie Art Festival in Swan Quarter

Dewey and I spent Saturday enjoying lots of great art at the Mattie art festival in Swan Quarter.  Travelers on the way to the ferry will now be treated to a sculpture " Gateway to the Outerbanks"  The sun was shining people were painting in the sunshine and The Swan Quarter volunteer fire dept. cooked up a great meal of fresh shrimp.  Great People and a Great Day... it was totally worth making the 22 hour round trip!  I bought a few things while I was there and will have to take a few pictures and post.  A really busy week but I did manage to get a few custom orders done before we took off but now I better get it in full gear and get creating for Christmas.  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  Jodi
