Dreaming about the Old Farmhouse

We are just about done with the cottage in Swan Quarter so now I am looking forward to working on the Old farmhouse.  We live in a Tudor style house and it is filled with dark wood and it is all warm and cozy perfect for the cold Ohio winters but I want something completely different for the farmhouse.  The old farmhouse walls are covered with bead board and has high ceilings and spacious hallways.  The windows are lined up to cause cross breezes throughout the house.  I am really excited to give it a easy going bright space.  I am thinking water and sand for my color scheme.  I need a completely new kitchen and baths and lots of time to get it to the point where I start decorating but it doesn't hurt to dream...  Here are some great pieces I love from shops on Etsy.

Love The Prints has wonderful botanical prints.  I am thinking ferns and little pops of seaweed green among a cool white sand for the bedroom.  Maybe some seashell prints for the hallway and pull some the blues and pinks for the pillows for the hallway bench.

Then to store all my dishes I have collected I am thinking a beautiful glass door cabinet for my kitchen and with a cabinet this pretty you have to have pretty shabby chic chairs.   Etsy shop Painted Cottages has chairs and a china cupboard that are exquisite!  Actually they have lots of things that would be perfect.  I will have to take some pictures when we visit in October and show just how far I am from decorating but it's nice to dream!  Hope everyone has a Great Labor Day!  Jodi
