Back from Swan Quarter

Just Back from Swan Quarter.  The cotton Fields are ripe and many fields have been picked.   We stay in the cottage next door but I am so anxious to get started on the farmhouse. I took a few pictures and lots of measurements of the farmhouse interior that needs a new Kitchen, bathrooms, paint, flooring, lighting and the list goes on and on but I think it has good bones.  I can already envision what it will look like when it is done... good thing because currently it is only home to some rather large spiders.  The Hallway will get a new front door and while we were in the little town of Bath I found a front door that I want... I am thinking a dark black/green color instead of the yellow. The kitchen will get a wood floor and new cabinets and a dishwasher... a must in my book.  The small bathroom will be gutted and a new floor plan.  I mean you really don't want the toilet to be the first thing you see.  So the closet moves out to the hallway and replaced with a shower, a toilet on the corner leaving just enough room for a vanity on the left wall once we take out a window. 

The other rooms new flooring and lots of paint.

I made a few things while I was gone and was inspired by the ocean and all the creatures that live there and the Seahorse and Mermaid ornament just seemed fitting.  Have a Great Weekend!  Jodi
